We also collect data you provide when using the service, including project details, collaborator information, ownership records, and invoices. We automatically collect usage data such as device type, app version, and interaction patterns.
We use your information to provide and improve the CAZEN platform, including account management, collaboration features, and ownership documentation. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to analyze trends and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
Contractual necessity — to provide and maintain the service you signed up for.
Legitimate interests — to improve and secure the platform, prevent fraud, and ensure service quality.
Legal obligations — where processing is required to comply with applicable law.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and cloud infrastructure. Ownership records in the Rights Vault are designed for permanent, tamper-evident storage. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.
Your data may be processed in countries outside your jurisdiction, including the United States, where our cloud infrastructure providers operate. We implement appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where required, to ensure your data is protected in accordance with applicable law.
Content uploaded by users, including audio files, project documents, and ownership records, may contain personal or copyrighted material. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights, licenses, and consent to upload such content.
CAZEN does not pre-screen user-uploaded content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.
CAZEN integrates with third-party services for authentication (Google, Apple) and cloud infrastructure (Supabase). We may also use third-party tools internally to improve the service, such as AI-assisted features. These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data. We only share the minimum information necessary for these services to function.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can export your data or request account deletion by contacting us. If you are located in the EU, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
CAZEN is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
